What is the name of...
1. Your favorite book? My recent favourite is "The Heaven Official’s Blessing": so many layers and secret reveal.
2. Your favorite movie? Barbie. It's fun, and it's what I imagined Barbie's world would look like as a kid. It also has insightful commentary about sexism.
3. Your least favorite adaptation of a book to a movie? Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It misses the point of the novel. Wonka doesn't need a woeful backstory.
4. Your least favorite adaptation ever of anything to a movie? The Dark Knight, mostly because I dislike grim dark superhero movies and their impact in general.
5. Your first ever novel/comic book/movie character crush? Kougaiji from Saiyuki. The scene when a brainwashed Kougaiji is ordered to comb Gyokumen Koushu's long hair imprints on kid!me.

I'm trying to catch up with January and February questions.
6 Jan: Sherlock Holmes’ Birthday: If you have one, what’s your favorite adaptation of Sherlock Holmes?
Miss Sherlock, a modern Japanese TV adaptation that both Holmes and Watson are women. I love the chemistry between the brilliant yet eccentric Miss Holmes and her Watson counterpart.
28 Jan: Data Privacy Day: How much do you do to protect your data or identity?
I have read a lot of news about doxxing, identity theft and cyber stalking, so I don't disclose my real life information online. I also use a password manager and change passwords regularly.
4 Feb: I Heart Horror Day: If you heart horror, what is your favorite horror story (film, literature, true crime, etc.)?
Misery by Stephen King. Annie Wilkes is scary and horrible, but King makes you see where she comes from. Paul Sheldon's desperate cat and mouse game with her, Stockholm syndrome and forced addiction still stick with me.
13 Feb: Fat Tuesday: Have you ever celebrated Mardi Gras/Carnival?
No, I haven't. It sounds fun though.
