Episode Summary: One of Kowalski's informants is stabbed to death while a few days earlier a flight attendant in Canada is murdered. Fraser finds the primary suspects have airtight alibis and no obvious ties. Yet Fraser plays a hunch that there is a connection.
- Fraser and Ray's banter is fun as always.
-
It amazes me how the music starts to play once he's looking at the score.
-
Sonny's actor is really good at selling the lines as sounding sincere rather than ridiculous that they're actually.
- Fraser jumps across roofs and uses a makeshift parachute to chase the suspect. He would be an Internet phenomena in an age with smartphones. I also like he deduced information from the pin.
-
- I wonder why there's background music when Fraser plays the tape as I thought it was from the surveillance camera. The twist about police recreation and the commentary about Canadian cinema are well played.
- Ray's first sign of cultural shock: a guy picking up trash and throwing it into the bin.
- Ray has opinion about Canadian hockey. Does he watch it with Fraser?
- I wish it could go without the "Thatcher wants a baby" plotline. Career women who just want a baby is overdone to me.
- I have never noticed the TV in the squad room before, so for a moment I thought Fraser was seeing a vision/face palm. I'm curious about the purpose of the TV set.
- Chad is really forthcoming with the blackmail thing. I wonder why.
- Fraser looks shocked when Thatcher says it was comforting to know that she could think of him as a partner as well as a subordinate
- Fraser standing at the top of a cab. Another thing on "This's so Fraser" list.
- I have to skip Thatcher and Fraser's conversation on the car because it hits my embarrassment squick hard. Fraser looks as uncomfortable as me trapped in the conversation.
- "General, not a good idea to mention 1812, sir. The Americans hate it when they lose a war. " - Canadians get the last line!
- I like that despite the jokes, Frannie is actually studying psychology and it's relevant to solving the case
- "I think they traded victims." The Strangers on a Train homage is really well done.
- I like the mystery plot, but I can really do without Fraser Sr. pressuring Fraser in having kids, and Thatcher's wanting-a-baby plotline. It doesn't go better when the twist is "Ha! Thatcher wants to adopt a baby!"
- Fraser and Ray's banter is fun as always.

Ray: You want the radio?
Fraser: No. That's all right. I've got a Mahler symphony I'd like to listen to.
Ray: Yeah, well, you need the keys.
Fraser: Well, there's no need, Ray. I have the score right here.
It amazes me how the music starts to play once he's looking at the score.

Sonny: That guy was a jerk, man. I mean, I appreciate your help, but that guy was a jerk. My mother dies, he wouldn't give me a week off.
Ray: Sonny, your mother died a year ago.
Sonny: Grief has its own timeframe. You can't rush it.
Sonny's actor is really good at selling the lines as sounding sincere rather than ridiculous that they're actually.

Welsh: Enough, enough. Just go find Ray. Now.I like how Frannie is unfazed by Welsh. I kind of ship them casually because they are fun together.
Francesca: I'll talk to you when your super-ego is in more control of your id. . .
