Episode Summary: Fraser is asked to take statements from Kowalski, Welsh and Thatcher after they witness a murder in a shopping mall. But do their statements identify the same murderer?

A Rashomon style plot is often fun. Best of all, we are supposed to watch what have happened in real time with them and still dumbfounded by the truth. This shows how unreliable eyewitnesses can be. The episode also gives us more insight into Welsh, Thatcher and Ray. Thatcher finds Fraser physically attractive, but who can blame her?

It's obvious that everyone's version is coloured by their past experience. While Welsh is right that Ray projects himself onto the case, I suspect that he is oblivious about his blind spot.

It's somewhat amusing and sad that Fraser finds hypothermia relaxing, The time skip after the hypnosis is very suspicious. What does Ray say other than his alien abduction? Fraser planted instruction both in Thatcher and Ray. Does he do something with that afterwards when this lasts?

In the end everyone is both right and wrong (including the suspects). Fraser's deduction probably won't go so well in a book (it's too much like cheating), but it's suitable for live media which we (and the characters) aren't supposed to look back.

Ray looks very impressed with Fraser's knife throwing. I also like their banter when pursuing the purse snatcher. It's badass for Fraser to confront the true culprit.

Francesca gets the good coffee she wants for everyone, which is admirable. Fraser reassures Ray about his fixation with Stella, which is very nice.
