Day One: Favorite lead female character: 九姑娘 Cheng Kau-mui of No Regrets . 巾幗梟雄之義海豪情 She's a rare ruthless, goal-oriented,and smart lead character on Hong Kong local TV. I love her independence and confidence.
Day Two: Favorite supporting female character: 郭襄 Guo Shang from 射雕英雄傳 The Legend of the Condor Heroes. She is innocent but not stupid, kind but not dull, and open-minded
Day Three: A female character you hated but grew to love. Maybe I'm blocking out things but I don't recall hating a female character. There are some I started out indifferent towards or sometimes irritated by whom I grew to love passionately: the best example of this is Relena of Gundam Wing. I'm indifferent to her at first, but her character arc is great.
Day Four: A female character you relate to: Deeba from Un Lun Dun.
Day Five: Favorite female character on a male-driven show: Nyota Uhura on Star Trek: TOS. I think she's smart and knows what she wants.
Day Six: Favorite female-driven show: War And Beauty, another Hong Kong local show, featuring smart and complicated women
Day Seven: A female character that needs more screen time: Madeleine Hightower on the Mentalist
Day Eight: Favorite female character in a comedy show: Penny from Big Bang Theory
Day Nine: Favorite female character in a drama show: Cameron from House
Day Ten: Favorite female character in a scifi/supernatural show Donna Noble on Doctor Who
Day Eleven: Favorite female character in a children’s show: If anime counts, Ami from Sailor Moon.
Day Twelve: Favorite female character in a movie: Tung from Heroic Trio. Actually I love all the female leads, but Anita Mui's performance as Tung's most memorable.
Day Thirteen: Favorite female character in a book: Mattie Ross from True Grit
Day Fourteen: Favorite older female character: 賈母 The old lady Jia from the Red Chamber of Dream
Day Fifteen: Favorite female character growth arc: Relena from Gundam Wing
